Step 1

Seeding

Our process begins with precision seeding, where high-quality seeds are planted in ideal conditions to ensure healthy growth from the start.

Step 2

Germination

During germination, seeds sprout into seedlings, nurtured by controlled temperature, humidity, and light, ensuring consistent and vigorous early growth.

Step 3

Nursery

In the nursery, seedlings thrive using Local Bounti’s innovative and patented Stack & Flow® technology, which maximizes space, light, and nutrients for optimal plant development. This innovative system allows for efficient, sustainable growth for many varieties of lettuces and leafy greens.

Step 4

Greenhouse

Plants then move to our advanced hydroponic greenhouses, where we carefully balance sunlight, temperature, and water to promote rapid, healthy growth in a sustainable way.

Step 5

Harvest

Once fully mature, we harvest the produce at peak freshness, delivering superior flavor, quality, and nutrition directly from our local greenhouses to your table.
